An elected committee of the faculty, the Committee on Professional Development formulates policies and, in some cases, makes recommendations concerning grants, leaves, attendance at professional meetings and other activities that contribute to the professional growth of the faculty. For Students:
The Center for Writing and Speaking.
Staffed by trained peer tutors, the Center for Writing and Speaking provides students of all ability levels with individual assistance in writing papers and in preparing speeches and presentations. Christine Cozzens, Director.Resource Center for Math & Science
The Resource Center for Math and Science
The center coordinator, faculty, and student learning assistants endeavor to facilitate students’ understanding of mathematics by focusing on the process rather than merely getting an answer. Elizabeth Hartnett, Coordinator.Foreign Language Tutoring.
