Blackboard Overview
Blackboard is an online course management system. It is a simple to use technology that enhances class communication, organization and presentation.
Blackboard course sites enable faculty to:
* Share important class documents, such as a syllabus, handouts and lecture notes
* Host online discussions
* Post a calendar with assignment due dates and exam schedules
* Broadcast class announcements
* Enhance lessons with online videos, PowerPoint slides and more
* Collect and return assignments online
* Give tests that are (mostly) automatically graded
* Allow students to check their grades online
